Cut-scene Illustrations

Standard

(See Sketchbook 3 Pages 14- 38)

I was tasked with drawing the illustrations for Aimee’s cutscene, the brief was:

‘All illustrations need to be done either with no boarders or when borders are needed, drawn within a oval like shape.
Can be a mix of traditional and/or digital.
try to make it as sketchy and rough as possible like old old disney animation/openings.
colouring if possible in water colour style’

Due to the length of the list that needed to be done, we decided the easiest way to get all of them done was to do line drawings and Aimee would build backgrounds for them using the assets I had previously drawn.

However, in the end only a few of these drawing were used in the cut scene due to the fact that despite wanting them to be more sketchy in comparison to the game illustrations, they ended up too sketchy to be used effectively in the cut scene. So Charlie ended up recreating them in a way that suited the game better.
